Well, another year has passed for me. What a wonderful day I experienced on March 7. The weather was PERFECT! I stayed outside all day with a small fire. It may sound so dull, but just watching the birds, squirrells, and other animals that I have in my back yard....perfect! I am so blessed to also have such wonderful friends that also thought of me on my special day. I also got 2 surprise cakes....one came from Kacees and the other came from Mr Ray (he made himself). Both were soooooo delicious!

Today, the Ouachita River is barreling through Ouachita Parish at a 39.9 feet. Flood stage is 40.0 feet. We are lucky to have such a powerful levee system throughout our parish!
